2010 Masters of Wine Symposium in Bordeaux

The Institute of Masters of Wine will hold its ‘Forging Links’ Symposium in Bordeaux from June 24 to June 27, 2010.  The Forging Links Symposium will address and discuss the many important connections in the global wine industry and is open to all. Presentations will be delivered by speakers of international standing, leading authorities in their fields. The venue for this exciting and dynamic event will be the Cité Mondiale du Vin, in the centre of Bordeaux.

The 2010 Symposium will cover the many and varied areas within the industry which highlight the connections bonding the wine trade together. There will be topics such as the influence and use of the Internet across the globe, delivering customer satisfaction through different business structures, succession issues in family businesses, wine makers who work with similar varieties across the globe, emerging markets and many other stimulating, relevant issues.

The event will be a combination of presentations and debates with a number of tastings and technical programmes. To deliver these stimulating lectures the Institute has gathered together a host of internationally recognised experts and thinkers, such as Egon Muller, Zelma Long, Christian Seely, Jancis Robinson MW, Tim Atkin MW, Michel Rolland, Paul Draper.
